beyond the burnout:
fostering sustainable performance

Research indicates that employee well-being is strongly linked to better performance. Employees who are physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy tend to perform better at work. Some companies offer comprehensive gym facilities with cardio, weight machines, callisthenic, and free weight zones. Others provide access to things like workout videos, and programs that address musculoskeletal health. This involves things like physical therapy, and motion labs, and wellness classes. The World Health Organisation states "for workers with emotional distress, physical exercise, such as aerobic training and weight-training, may be considered in order to reduce these symptoms."
